It's here!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Building Bridges Conference taking place this Friday and Saturday, 1st and 2nd of June!

We'd like to give you a quick run-down of events and timings ahead of the weekend;
  • Friday 1st June
    • The registration desk will be open between 5-8pm. It is located opposite the main door in the hotel lobby. You can pick up your Delegate Pack and Name badges at this time.
    • The Networking Wine & Cheese Social event is on from 7-9pm in the Vineyard Room. This is an informal gathering where we invite you to drop in and share a glass of wine and nibbles and meet with other delegates. There are complimentary cheese & nibbles and a cash bar where wine, beer & soft drinks are available for purchase.
    • The Marketplace will also be open between 7-9pm in the Vineyard Room so you can browse the stands from our 10 Exhibitor & Vendors. They will be offering products and services specifically catered towards the needs of child care professionals.  
  • Saturday 2nd June
    • The registration desk will be open again from 8-9.30am
    • A delicious buffet Breakfast is served from 8-9am in the Ballroom. Please seat yourself at any of the tables in the Ballroom, where you will remain for the Keynote Speaker starting at 9am.
    • Conference Welcome & Keynote starts at 9am in the Ballroom. 
    • The Marketplace will be open all day between 8am-5pm in the conference area hallway and ballroom foyer. Please do revisit the vendors as many will have extended displays! 
    • Lunch will be served from 12-1pm in the Ballroom. Once again please seat yourself at any of the tables. We will have a few announcements and some door prize giveaways! 
Refreshments will be served at all breaks and is part of your conference registration.

Please note, that your Workshop Choices will be noted on the bottom right corner of your name badges.
We have only contacted those delegates whose first choice workshops were not available at the time of registration - if you haven't heard from us, you can assume that you were successful in obtaining a seat in all your first choices!

Room reservations at the Coast Capri Hotel

We have a block of rooms at preferred rates especially for our delegates, but these rooms are only set aside for our group until May 1st, 2012. So don't delay - book your room now! (and don't forget, The Coast Capri now partners with Aeroplan, so you can collect points on your stay!)

(After May 1st, it will still be possible to book rooms subject to availability, but you may not receive the group preferred rates)

We have reserved guest accommodations for Conference Delegates for the duration of your stay at a preferred delegate rate starting from just $100 for a Coast Comfort room. Please note all guest rooms are the responsibility of the delegate (accommodation NOT included in conference registration)

Workshop B2 is full

For those of you that still haven't registered....what are you waiting for?!

We are now full to capacity on the Early Afternoon workshop B2 (Helping Children learn to manage stress). The option to select this workshop on the online registration form is no longer available, so do please pick an alternative workshop in that time slot.

At this time there is space available in all other workshops (though we are nearing capacity on a number of others so do be quick!)

We would love to accommodate everyone in all their first choice workshop choices, but sadly it is not possible. We want to make this conference as enjoyable an event as possible and we have cut off numbers per workshop based on a comfortable capacity of the workshop rooms. Many of our presenters also express a preference in smaller groups so that everyone can get the most out of the workshop. Workshop choices were on a strictly first come first serve basis at time of receipt of paid registration.

We will be contacting all delegates who have NOT secured all their first choice workshops.

Early Bird Pricing has been extended!

It's financial year end for a lot of people and things can get crazy busy around this time. So, we're giving you an extra 2 weeks to get organized and get your registration at the Early Bird pricing of $125! We've extended the deadline until Friday April 13th, 2012.

But don't delay, some workshops only have a couple of spots left before we reach capacity. If your first choice workshop is full, we will automatically place you in your second choice.
